Angelo Martucci's Journey in Real Estate
Angelo discovered his passion for real estate at 21 while in college. By 22, he began real estate appraisal courses and, at 23, became the youngest trainee at a major appraisal firm. After earning his state license and certification, he gained valuable experience. During the 2008 economic downturn, which heavily impacted his business, Angelo pivoted to specialize in foreclosure, divorce, tax appeal, and bankruptcy appraisals. He built expertise in multi-family properties by collaborating with banks, hard money lenders, investors, and attorneys.
In 2015, inspired by a mentor he met while appraising multi-family properties, Angelo transitioned into real estate investing. After successfully flipping his first properties, he shifted his focus to distressed multi-family properties, rehabilitating and transforming them into cash-flowing assets with substantial equity.
By repeating this strategy, he built a portfolio and eventually phased out house flipping to focus exclusively on multi-family investments, recognizing their greater long-term benefits.
To scale his business, Angelo established robust property management operations, partnered with a landlord-tenant law firm, and built a network of skilled contractors. His efforts contributed to revitalizing one of Paterson's most challenging neighborhoods, enabling his business to thrive even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
With years of experience as a landlord and extensive knowledge of asset management, construction, and landlord-tenant law, Angelo is now positioned to expand into larger multi-family investments.
He leverages his strong relationships with city and county housing agencies and his expertise in property management to continue growing his business and delivering lasting value to the communities he serves.
